    A native of Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Joseph P. Wang is a graduate of China Medical University in Taiwan. Dr. Wang completed his Radiation Oncology Residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and was the Flight Surgeon for Cha-Yi Air Force Hospital in Cha-Yi, Taiwan.

    Prior to Delta Medix, Dr. Wang was the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Director for UPMC Northwest Cancer Center in Seneca, Pennsylvania, the Lexington Clinic at Southeastern Kentucky Cancer Center in Corbin, Kentucky, and Central Ohio Radiation Oncology at Adena Health System in Chillicothe, Ohio.

    Dr. Wang is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology. He completed a list of publications and presentations including a presentation to ASTRO on the combined chemotherapy and IMRT radiation therapy for cancer of nasopharynx and Chemodectoma of Temporal Bone.

    A native of Scranton, Pennsylvania Dr. Shahroon Choudhry received his Doctorate of Medicine Degree from Windsor University School of Medicine, Saint Kitts and Nevis, West Indies.

    Dr. Choudhry completed his residency in Family Medicine at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital in Wilkes Barre, PA followed by completing his fellowship in Palliative Medicine at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine.

    Currently Dr. Choudhry works as a Hospitalist at the VA Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre. Dr. Choudhry is affiliated with the Delta Medix Center for Comprehensive Cancer Care where he provides complex symptom management and palliative care to both outpatients and inpatients. He is on the Medical Staff at Regional Hospital of Scranton And Moses Taylor Hospital.

    A native of California, Dr. Tanya Kumaria attended the University of California, Berkeley where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Biology. She received her Doctorate of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine.

    Dr. Kumaria completed a combined Residency program in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Hospice & Palliative Care Medicine.

    Dr. Kumaria works in the Hospitalist Program at Moses Taylor Hospital and is affiliated with the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital at Moses Taylor. She is also affiliated with the Delta Medix Center for Comprehensive Cancer Care where she provides comprehensive symptom management and palliative care to both outpatients and inpatients.

    Cherrie Bentler is a Scranton native. She is a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and Marywood University. She received her Master of Science Degree in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Misericordia University.

    Cherrie is Nationally Certified in Oncology and Family Practice, and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Oncology Nursing Society, the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society in Nursing, and the Academy of Oncology Nurse Navigators. She is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine for The Commonwealth Medical College. Her experience includes 15 years in Hematology and Oncology, and 20 years in Surgical Nursing.

    Adrian Gooch, Jr., M.S., ABR Diplomate

    Mr. Gooch is the Medical Physicist for The Center for Comprehensive Cancer Care. Mr. Gooch is a native of Kentucky and graduated with his Master of Science in Medical Physics from the University of Kentucky. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Western Kentucky University. Mr. Gooch is certified in Therapeutic Radiological Physics, Diagnostic Radiological Physics, and Medical Nuclear Physics by the American Board of Radiology. Prior to his appointment at The Center for Comprehensive Cancer Care, he was the Regional Director of Medical Physics and Radiation Safety Officer for the Mercy Health System in Scranton, Pennsylvania. His experience includes the establishment of several cancer centers in Northeast Pennsylvania and the development of programs for hyperthermia, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy, Intravascular Brachytherapy, High Dose Rate Brachytherapy, and Stereotactic Radiosurgery during his 24 year tenure in the Mercy Health System.

    Larry Crimi received an Associate Degree in Radiologic Science from Robert Packer Hospital/Mansfield University, graduated from the Radiation Therapy program at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania and did his Dosimetry training at Mercy Hospital, Scranton, Pa. Larry is Board Certified in Radiology, Radiation Therapy, and Dosimetry. He is working in the Field of Dosimetry for over 20 years. Prior to working at The Center for Comprehensive Cancer Care, he was the Senior Dosimetrist at Mercy Hospital, Scranton and Radiation Therapist at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, and Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pa. Larry is a member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board, and the American Association of Medical Dosimetrists.
