Septal Deviation

The septum separates the two sides of our nose is usually straight.  If the septum is not straight and deviated to one side, it is referred to as a septal deviation.  This can cause narrowing of the nasal passage.  Treatment of a septal deviation is a surgical procedure referred to as a septoplasty.
