External Otitis (Swimmer's Ear)

Is inflammation of the outer ear/canal and is commonly referred to as “swimmer’s ear.”  It can be associated with a significant amount of pain and swelling of the canal and often needs a “wick” to stent open the external auditory canal to facilitate the use of eardrops used to treat the infection.
