Turbinate Coblation

Coblation of the turbinates is a surgical procedure used to treat nasal obstruction by removing and shrinking soft tissue inside the turbinates. Some patients experience an increase in congestion in their postoperative course.  Sometimes, repeat procedures are necessary to reach maximum improvement in breathing.  It is performed in the operating room under general anesthesia on an outpatient basis.
